Golf in Pendaires was incredible. The abundant moisture has northern New Mexico looking like a garden. There is still snow atop some of the mountains. Four years ago this looked like a desert.

Welcome to climate change?
Maybe not, but one consequence of it will be a shift in zones where agriculture takes place. Perhaps one day they won't even need to irrigate in New Mexico, and those throngs being driven out of flooded coastal areas and places that turn to desert will show up here. Put out the welcome mat. Pace off your back yard and get an idea of how many travel trailers you can get in there.
Seriously though, it's interesting to see a transition like that, like in the morning when I'm delivering in the central part of town and looking across at los volcanes and seeing them in green.
