Misc.

Pretty soon NRA and Congressional enabled mass shootings in the USA will be relegated to the bottom of the page and ends of newscasts because they are so common.   Kind of like convenience store robberies.  That might happen.  The only thing that will change the makeup of the NRA owned congress will be someone going postal in the GOP Caucus meeting of the House and Senate.

A guy named Roberto Aguirre who was found driving my meth-soaked stolen car has been sent away from the Luna County Jail.  I was notified of the move, but in order to keep track of him, I need to hear from Luna County about where he was sent.  I have called but can get no response.  He is a serial criminal who should never be outside a lockup again.

ABQ Police Chief Gordon Eden has retired from a short and disastrous career at APD.  All I can say is M'eh.

How to keep the story above the fold: lets say the next time someone shoots up at church, a barefoot guy taking a nap outside grabs his AR-15 & jumps into a passing truck to run down the shooter. See? #MAGA Also, since you've been warned, from SC to TX, why would anyone go to church w/o an AR-15? Think, people!

The "good guy " with a gun shot at the "bad guy" with a gun, but it didn't stop the mass murder. The fact that the victims were white, Christian church-goers won't spark any cries for sensible restrictions on gun ownership or use, either. The fact that the shooter was a veteran terminally damaged by his military service won't lead to more mental health treatment for vets, either. We are doomed.

how do you know he was damaged by his military experience? Facts please.

Mayor, you may want to check into Aguirre's case here in ABQ. New District Court Judge Cindy Leos dismissed it with prejudice (meaning it can't be refiled) because he wasn't transported to court Monday morning for his arraignment. Your judiciary at work!
