Mitch Wyss, the grape grower at Halter Ranch gave us a tour of the Vineyard and new winery today. We saw golden eagles, a world record 400 year old oak tree and sampled lots of grapes.

Geez. Some wonderful photos these last few posts. I could go on and on. Even what might be simple snapshots of people look like they belong in a brochure, like that top one with the big radiator thing making the angle with all the other angles. Really.
So tell us, is it California, the wine perhaps, or is it the release of a burst of creative energy that's been building up while you wasted the whole summer playing golf?

Sampled grapes, or grape juice?
