I had not seen this. It is very good and will tug at you. Especially, watch the credits.

Whoever did those lyrics did a good job, and that gal has a tremendous voice. Pride tempered by a touch of humble, self-effacing humor is a winning combination. It makes me want to be a proud New Mexican, but I'm only on DWI number two.
That guy standing on one foot looks familiar. A former mayor, I think. Probably trying to get the cop's attention, which I understand was hard to do in those days.
