Autumn on the Rio Grande

There is no better time of year to wander around the Land of Enchantment than the month of October.

Thank you for that breathtaking display of your prowess. You are just relentless. Have you tried printing anything out?

You could easily fill up a show. Your style is so unique, too. It seems rooted in good classic photography and you don't rely on all these gimmicks that are fashionable now, but you have that bold framing and composition style in a lot of your work.

As for these today, those first two are just glorious and speak for themselves (As they always do. My comments don't really add anything) but I like the third one, the humble little yellow flowers of desert weeds, for its sheer audacity. It's very interestingly designed. Click on it and blow it up and that perspective and depth of field take hold. It's not long before it just starts rolling with movement. Damn.

Beautiful series of shots. I miss New
Mexico like crazy. Would never have left if I had known I would not be coming back. Looks like my daughter will be going to UNM. We visited Susan and Karen there this summer. Who am I?
