This is a new 1200 foot long tunnel for wine storage at the Halter Ranch Winery where we are holding our foundation meeting. It is a good place to hide out from the Tea Party Taliban during our current crisis caused by a hundred or so congressmen and women who seem intent on destroying our economy.

Thanks for the chuckle, and the pictures.
People wondering how visual art "works" would do well to compare this one with the one below. They do it in almost opposite ways but the way light and shape is organized leads the attention (if not the eye) toward a certain conclusion.
Below you have the arrangement of the furrows in the far hillsides, and the fields in the bottoms somewhat, mediating the movement but only after you focus in on them. Above, the barrels and shape of the cavern do that but mediated immediately, even as you look past it, by the barrel in sharp focus in the foreground.
I don't know if you do that kind of thing consciously -- many artists, I think, are quite happy to let their unconscious be expressed somehow, I don't know how. Maybe we all do it in our own way even if it's not in a way that others can see and understand, so it's just a pleasure to see how you do that so well and consistently and beautifully.
