Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, OCD, is an anxiety disorder and is characterized by recurrent, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and/or repetitive behaviors (compulsions). Repetitive behaviors such as handwashing, counting, checking, or cleaning are often performed with the hope of preventing obsessive thoughts or making them go away.
Somewhat like the Albuquerque Journal's Thomas Cole's repetitive and boring attacks on Governor Richardson. This is all egged on by the Martinez administration of course. When will it end? Both the new governor and the journal pointing backward instead of looking forward that is. Their behavior is nauseating and silly.
And, the Journal conveniently forgot that their name was on the Pavilion at Mesa Del Sol when the County was giving away freebies to concerts to its favorite connected people. Remember when it was Journal Pavilion? So were they in on the deal or can one can assume they were turning a blind eye? Of course not. But to leave their name off of the venue when the news is bad is almost embarrassing. Now that the practice has been stopped maybe the Journal and the County can do some real rooting out of corruption in the good ole boy system at county government. This is small potatoes.
