After using up an hour of my time I finally cancelled our SiriusXM service. They turned of our radios immediately even though we had several weeks left on our subscription. They did this so I might call again and get hammered with special deals to enroll again.
A note to our Congressional delegation. Any business in the US that provides account services through the internet must provide the ability to cancel such services in a simple and effective way. Introduce that bill and win thousands of votes.

That's the kind of thing that makes me want to start looking for bomb making materials.
Now, keep in mind, the government's domestic spying computers, the ones that trawl millions of web sites, internet traffic, emails, texts and so forth looking for key words, are going to see "bomb making materials" in this comment and flag me as someone to keep an eye on, so if you bomb them, I'll get blamed for it.
Regarding Sirius, they will now begin to flood your mailbox with special offers. I cancelled a year ago. I still get at least one a week.
I really loved Sirius when I first got it but they are all over the place these days.
Another piece of legislation needed, at least here in New Mexico.
Any licensed and regulated monopoly operating in the state MUST maintain all operations dealing with the customers IN THE STATE. I resent like hell that each month I send payments to Public Service of NEW MEXICO, and NEW MEXICO Gas Company to DENVER!!!
