Today on two different occasions, and after I thought of it myself, people put a tag on Mayor Chavez. He will now be known as "midnight Marty" for sneaking onto the Montano bridge and repainting the stripes. He did much the same thing when he cut down the gigantic Cottonwood tree for construction of the bridge. Sneaky Mayor, but what the hell, the journal put another picture of him and his dog in the paper this morning.
The very word 'secrecy' is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths, and to secret proceedings.
