Tim Keller is in pretty good shape as shown by the Sanderoff Research and Polling survey this morning. It is probably accurate because unlike robo call polls, the cheap ones employed by TV News and others, Sanderoff manages to get a right mix of both cell phones and landlines into his sample. One could argue that few of Keller's young supporters have land lines.
An interesting demographic in the race concerns Brian Colon, former Democratic Party Chair, is that he is losing big time to Keller amongst Democrats. I have referred to him as the "Pelosi" of New Mexico, and that might be showing. Time for new leaders. But, I can't recall any former Chairs of the Party who went on to win elections.
The knives will come out big time in the race now. But where they will be planted is up for grabs. Probably in Colon as the desperate GOP right wing tries to get one of their fundamentalists into the runoff. Meanwhile, will ABQ City Councillor Lewis and County Commissioner Johnson go into war against each other? Who knows.
The voter turn out will be low.

You have forgotten Diane Denise who was state party chair and went on to be elected Lt Gov. but later got her head handed to her by Suzanna thanks to good old bill.
It will be Tim Keller and Brian Colon in runoff. Brian will beat Tim in the runoff. He will get all the Republicans that cannot stand Tim Keller. The two R's cancel each other out and then Brian swoops in to victory with his large campaign war chest. Tim should have not taken public financing. Poor guys is about to get crucified.

Your boy poindexter Colon is about to get steamrolled. He is a fraud. Pulled himself up by his bootstraps huh! Well he was sued over non payment of his school loan and his law firm is representing Schultz. They never filed to end representation so they are liars. Also, get ready for his mess to come out over his connections to Richardson during all of that pay to play shenanigans. Colon is a joke and a fake. He won't even make the runoff. Colon would be more of the same corruption and all of Schultz's Perry's and Berrys people will be protected and running amok. The public knows this and it is not going to happen. This time we are not going to see money buy an election.

What I have found and have had a belly full of from Keller supporters is they are very loyal to the point they come unglued and attack people whenever someone says anything perceived as being critical of their candidate. Keller and his supporters better get thicker skins because if he is elected, they will be absolutely miserable for 4 years dealing with a 24/7 scrutiny of the press and the public not to mention the hate mongers who support him now and will turn on him in a heartbeat when he does not do their bidding.
