Good! Sam Bregman won the state party chairmanship for the Democratic Party. As a guy who was more often than not at odds with Sam when in a Mayor's race or such, I am very happy he won this race. He is brash and outspoken and won't be afraid to attack the Martinez administration. And he will most likely do it in an effective way and that is what is needed to show the Governor she just can't keep listening to her neocon handlers. His abilities showed through in his two to one victory at the party convention. He has matured and seems a little more thoughtful than in the past. Let's see what he can do.

For whatever his reasons may be, he has been a strong presence in NM. As a lawyer, he has taken cases others wouldn't touch and he has done well. He has picked a few fights with the current administration and he is a hard worker. Roxanne is still young and has many years ahead to try again butshe may consider relocating from mini-Texas first. That is her hub not the Democratic party's hub. I am still concerned about the lack of women leaders in this state in the Democratic party.
Right on the money, Jim! Apparently, the SCC agrees. We voted for Sam by a 2-1 margin. This is Sam's time.
Like anonymous, I like Roxanne, but I don't think she was ready for the job. I think this was the race politicians run to learn how to win.
