The nasty threats of the Homeland Security department on prosecuting employers who have illegal immigrants working for them will certainly cause you problems. Let’s see what you are in for.
Pray that it doesn’t rain because there will be no one to put a new roof on your house. Thinking about conserving water? Forget it because there will be no one to come and do the xeriscaping on your house because there will be no workers there either.
Thinking about a nice Caesar salad for dinner tonight? Forget it; there will be no one to pick the Romaine lettuce in the fields. Hoping those street improvements get finished soon? They wont because there will be no one to lay the asphalt.

But as long as we allow companies to hire illegals, they will pay less then a fair wage. By forcing employers to hire "legals", a higher wage must be paid and it increases everyones economies. A rising tide floats all boats.
