Holy Shit

This is the guy who was just hired as a chief deputy at the Bernalillo County Sheriffs Office at $100K a year. This whole Jesus and guns thing really is telling. And the county commission wasted money on this. Click on the full screen arrows to see it better.

That seems to be the theme "Scare them and keep them scared".

I want to hear from Manny and the County Commission. Why do we need this guy? He has no current law enforcement experience. Waste of our money for a political payback.

Holy Shit is right! I had no idea such insane wing nuttery went on at that place. That’s right across the street from where I live (the soon to be fashionable Tierra Pointe Apartments on Los Volcanes) and every evening I walk up the sidewalk directly in front of the church, then turn left and walk alongside the church to where I park my trucks on Airport Drive. I mean, from the outside it looks like a Republican wanna be mega church, cheaply made factory or shopping mall construction but with a huge gaudy added on portico lined with huge gaudy gold plated columns, but I had no idea there’s been someone aiming a loaded gun at my head and fervently asking Jesus for the go ahead to take me out.

I’ve actually been tempted to cut across their parking lot and save myself a good deal of walking. Look at how they harassed that kid who was walking down the sidewalk, in broad daylight, minding his own business, exactly where I’m walking every evening after dark. I’d soon be surrounded by overweight buzz head gun nuts with loaded weapons pointed at me. They’d be screaming at me, catching their breath, screaming at me, catching their breath, until one of us died of a heart attack.

Seriously though, that video is really unsettling. The irony is, security there seems, to me, to be haphazard. There are two driveway gates on Los Volcanes and two on Airport and ofttimes one or two of them get left open all night. And there are almost nightly basketball games or some other activity there during the winter, and I often find myself walking past an unsupervised group of kids loitering around the back door of the gym, along Airport which is pretty dark, or sitting on one of the curbs in their parking lot which is also pretty dark. Airport is a popular cut through street and those kids would be easy targets for a drive by shooting, or being snatched by a child molester in a van with blacked out windows.

But maybe they have snipers in fatigues posted along the roof of the Detective Jeri Sanders Memorial Gymnasium. Or maybe not. Someone would have to climb up there.

How many guns does the one guy need to have?

What qualifies Allen to be an under sheriff? This is a slap in the face to all the BCSO 34s who should have been given this position.

What is wrong with Manny? The election is over. You won, Legacy Church lost. Now get religion out of BCSO!

Looks like future elections for any office is going to be my church vs your church constitution be damnded!! Isn't that what most Republicans keep saying the Dems are trampleing? Must be a different constitution.

What qualifies Allen to be an under Sheriff? He is a retired NM State Police Officer. I believe he also spent time in law enforcement in Oregon after he retired from NMSP. Pastor Allen is a good man.
