Climate Change and Beer

My opponent, despite his massive support by the oil and gas industry, must have decided that climate change and global warming may be happening and he is doing his small part to keep things cold. In order to conserve coldness he has been giving out beer can insulators to everyone he sees on the campaign trail. Yes, that is the Land Office Seal on the beer 'coozie' along with the state motto.

"Crescit Eundo" means "GROW AS IT GOES". Now, I guess it means "STAYS MORE COLD AS IT GOES."

Every little bit helps I guess.....Oh, wait, if he conserves cold does it get warmer? And if you refrigerate the beer does the energy expenditure make it warmer? All scientists please comment.....

I think that this is a pretty good campaign tactic really and it has some truly historic context. In the "good old days" candidates or their surrogates would show up at stump speeches or the polls and get the crowd "likered-up" a bit so they would be more receptive to the message or to just down right nudges on who to vote for as they entered the voting place.

It is conceivable that Mr. Lyons is signaling that there is a cold beer in the voter's future either on November 7th or shortly thereafter if they vote his way. Though, now that i think about it some more, I really sort of doubt that that is good "politicking" in NM, considering the state's angst over DWIs.
