Misc.

The military industrial complex at White Sands Missile range are acting as johnny-come-latelies in the effort to construct a new electrical transmission line to carry renewable energy to the western grid.  At the last moment they took up the banner of the fossil fuel boys. They say that the project would endanger them playing with missiles and drones on their range.  Even though the new line would be north of the range in a buffer area.  I am surprised at this move by DoD because they usually are pretty good on renewable energy usage.  They have been early adopters int he past.  But they are really throwing a wrench in the works at the last minute on this issue.   I mean ask your self, do we need more weapons or more renewable energy?  The BLM at the Interior Department should stand their ground on their approval of the project.

The religious fanatics who would control women's bodies are showing just what lunatics they are when they stage a protest at the Albuquerque Holocaust Museum.  They accused the museum as being as bad as Nazis for not allowing them to display their peculiar brand of porn that depicts aborted fetuses.  I have to say these folks are truly nuts and they have bullied the republicans in city hall into spending an extra $750,000 for an extra election on their issue of denying women their rights.  The Albuquerque City Clerk is incompetent for not getting signatures counted in a timely manner so this issue can go on the ballot in October.  They Mayor is complicit.  If one were to look at registration qualification on candidate petitions on the state level during election times you can see how quickly they get it done.  This is a definite conspiracy by the Mayor and others.

Religious fanatics, lunatics, nuts. Resorting to childish name-calling is pathetic. I'm a Christian - a Christ follower - who is pro-life. Your comments are offensive! But you probably don't care because tolerance seems to go only one way these days...to the liberal left. Am I supposed to tolerate your name calling and yet you will not tolerate my pro-life stance?

People can tolerate your prolife stance just fine, but they can't tolerate you pushing it into the lives of all women. Your base your beliefs on a vengeful god which you want everyone to follow, which is your choice. We choose not to follow. You call us murderers and hell bound. You are worse than lunatics, you are fascists who insist we live like you do. In a make-believe creation of a white bearded man in the clouds.

Fascists. Another name caller. No, you don't have to live like me. I didn't call anyone a name. Women have a choice...before they get pregnant. I'm sorry for you.God is not make believe. One day you will meet Him face to face. You should ponder your destiny. He does love you.

I can't tell you the number of times a driver in a vehicle adorned with the christian "fish" sticker has cut me off in traffic and flipped me the bird. Ah! Love thy neighbor until thy neighbor is in traffic. Sigh

You just proved my point of intolerance again by name-calling. Now I'm a fascist because I believe in life, because I believe in God. My God is not vengeful. He's not an old, white-bearded man in the clouds. He's a loving God who is the Creator of this world. He created every baby in the womb of its mother. He grieves the death of EVERY innocent baby aborted. I believe that women have a choice. They can choose to use birth control before they get pregnant. It's free at Planned Parenthood. My God loves. I'm sorry you don't know the love of God.

God has a face?

Interesting question, Jim. No one has seen the face of God. But God does have a face. One day we will all stand before the God of this universe and He will ask a very important question: "What did you do with my Son, Jesus?" For those who submitted their lives to Christ - not just attend church - those will escape the judgment of God. For thos who reject Jesus, they will face God's judgment. One day, God is going to say enough to the innocent slaughter of unborn babies and the other perversion that is occurring in this world.

Remeber that great radio show a few years back, The Story Lady? Some of these comments are way better than that.

Okay, yeah, I get it: abortion is bad. I wonder though where does genocide fit in or is that not our problem because it occurs in other countries?

Where does infidelity fit in? That should be a concern because it is a sin after all and certain employees of APD are chronic sinners. Why don't you collectors of signatures ask Mayor Berry where he stands on that or is infidelity just not shocking enough?

I think you should "save" the police, too. I await word of your attempts to gather signatures for our morality and ultimate salvation.

The original point was name-calling and intolerance toward those of us who are pro-life. Infidelity is wrong as well. I can't save anyone. By the way, I wasn't part of the demonstration and I didn't sign the petition. You won't see any petition attempts on my part for your morality and ultimate salvation. You're on your own for that. I'm just tired of being called names for what I believe in. But I guess it doesn't matter...those of you who post on this liberal blog will continue to be name-callers. And I use the word "liberal" because if you read Mr. Baca's profile, one of his interests is "liberalism," so I'm safe using that word here. I'm done. Arguing goes nowhere.
