Hermes and Ajax are lovers. Not in the sexual sense because we had their testicles removed when they were kittens. (That whole mandatory neutering thing upon adoption at the animal shelter.) But they are lifelong partners for sure. They comfort each other often and share food and play. No North Carolina constitutional amendments banning their relationship so far.

There's been a lot of interesting speculation in the media about whether your endorsement of Hermes' and Ajax' relationship will galvanize your base, whether it will galvanize the other base, what effect it will have on fundraising, or whether it will even matter in November.
